Obituary

Kathryn E. (Thompson) LaForce, 72, passed away in Louisville, Kentucky, February 28, 2023. She was born in Washington, Indiana, March 13, 1950, to Marvin, Sr. and Eva Pearl (Holt) Thompson. She was married to Kenneth LaForce, Sr. and he survives.

Kathryn was a homemaker who loved doing word searches and crossword puzzles. She was an avid collector of anything to do with butterflies. She attended the Pentecostal church.

Those who now mourn Kathryn's passing include her husband, Kenneth LaForce, Sr.; and her children: Kenneth (Tonya) LaForce, Jr. of Washington; Angie LaForce of Huntingburg; and Aaron LaForce of Washington. Kathryn was blessed with eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Mike (Deborah) Thompson and George Thompson, both of Washington.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin, Sr. and Eva Thompson; a grandson, Jaret Stone; and brothers: Marvin Thompson, Jr.; David Thompson; John Thompson; Jerry Thompson; Ted Thompson; Tim Thompson; and Richard Thompson who died in infancy.
