Mary Irene Lamb, age 77, of Washington passed away at 3:50 p.m. Friday at Washington Nursing Center. Born July 14, 1932 in Montgomery, she was the daughter of Louis and Helen (Stumpp) Lamb. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Surviving are two brothers, Leo (Marilyn) Lamb of Haubstadt, and Louis "Bud" Lamb of Deming NM; one sister Beryl (Phillip) Myers of Plainville; a brother-in-law, Donald Martin of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Eileen Martin. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
