Just a great guy, always had a smile & a story to tell you. Made you welcome at C Oaks, it was like he was the owner. I will miss seeing him when I go there to golf. RIP

if you were a golfer at Country Oaks you were often greeted by Linus before you ever got to the clubhouse. He made sure the fine touches were done like flowerbeds, trimmed bushes and the like that made the place beautiful. This was his way of touching many people and just a small part of his life he shared with many. Linus will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I too remember Linus from Herschs IGA, and a friend at Our Lady Of Hope Church. May GOD be with Linus and his family at this time.

Linus and I became friends through his grandkids. Also through the Bank where I work. Always was given each other a hard time, but both considered each other good friends. I thought of Linus as a step-grandfather who you could kid with. Going to miss him talk about his family whom he dearly loved and was very proud of! RIP my good buddy! Mike

I worked at Herschs IGA when Linus was a health and beauty distributor. One of the friendliest and nicest men I knew. Also Dean and Kevin worked there. Linus never was without a smile and a story to tell! He loved his family and still being able to work. He sure never looked or acted his age. Prayers for family Im know hell be missed .

D Dan and Beth Edwards April 30, 2020

Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. It was always a pleasure to see Mr. Buchheit when we would drive to Country Oaks for a round of golf. He always had such nice things to say about my father, Joe Edwards. Mr. Buchheit was such a positive person who treated everyone with kindness.
