Thomas "Tom" Wingfield, 77, passed away in Newburgh at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Tom was born October 30, 1936 in Washington to Earl Wingfield and Trois (Gordon) Wingfield. He married Marjorie Sue (Reel) Wingfield on February 18, 1956. He spent four years in the US Air Force and retired from Jefferson Trucking. He was a member of The Washington Moose, Eagles, VFW, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and Teamstears Union Local 135. . He is survived by his wife Marjorie Sue (Reel) Wingfield; four daughters, Becky (Tim) Ash of Washington, Brenda (Bill) Devine of Washington, Pam (Rock) Showalter of Montgomery, Tommi (Jack) Hamilton of Washington; sixteen grandchildren; and thirty great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; four brothers; one son, Thomas L. Wingfield; one granddaughter, Andrea Boes; and one great-grandson, Memphis Riker. Visitation will be held at 4PM-8PM on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 on Sunday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and VFW.
