Virginia Ann Toy of Loogootee, Indiana Oct. 25, 1925 - April 9, 2013 On Tuesday morning at 7:44 A.M. Virginia left this world into the loving arms of Jesus to reunite with him, and joyfully celebrate the 93rd birthday of her love, Robert F. Toy along with her parents, brothers, sisters, and in-laws who have gone before her. Virginia was born on October 25, 1925 to Dellas T. and Anna (Miles) Williams. On October 12, 1946, she was married to Robert F. Toy. From this union they were blessed with 6 children, Roberta A. Williams (husband Gary) of Loogootee, Michael F. (Mike)Toy (wife Carol) of Dale, Daniel J. (Dan) Toy (wife Deena) of Huntingburg, Marilyn (Kay) Summers (husband Mike) of Loogootee, William D. (Bill) Toy (wife Gina) of Loogootee, and Robert D. (Bob) Toy (wife Penny) of Loogootee. So, too, she is survived by 20 grandchildren, Brian Williams, Jackie Esch, Brent Williams, Nancy Harrison, Stephen Toy, Mark Toy, Gregg Toy, Amy Maxey, Angie Stout, Krista Sims, Karla Eckerle, Kelli Wilson, Kirk Summers, Kent Summers, Nick Toy, Gil Toy, Alan Toy, Alex Toy, Jordan Toy, and Alayna Toy. Additionally, she is survived by 50 great-grandchildren and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother and sister in-laws, Martha Lancaster (husband Ralph) and Joyce Toy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Toy, her parents, Dellas and Anna (Miles) Williams, in-laws, Gilbert and Rose (Ginder) Toy, siblings, Corrine Williams, Ruth Roberts (husband Chester), George Williams (wife Peg), Vincent Williams (wife Dorothy), Marjorie Doyle (husband Chris), Monica Greenwell (husband Pat), Rosalie Craney (husband Charles), along with in-laws, Ed Toy (wife Janeva), Jerry Toy, Pat Toy, Patricia Toy, and JoAnn Toy. Virginia was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church where she was baptized, received her 1st holy communion, was confirmed and married. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Auxiliary and enjoyed card games with numerous groups in Loogootee as well as playing bingo. A celebration of her life will be held with a visitation at St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee on Friday April 12th from 3-8 P.M. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church on Saturday, April 13th at 10:00 A.M.
