Obituary

Eleanor 'Rita' Kramer, age 87, of Zionsville formerly of Washington passed away at 10:50PM on Saturday at Zionsville Meadows. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Martin Joseph and Anna (Louden) Towey. She had been a sales clerk for Danner's Department Store (3-D) and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She is survived by three daughters and sons in-law, Teri and Dennis Hildrebrand of Washington, Marie and Norbert Stransky of Zionsville, and Ann and Darrell Akemon of Scottsburg; two sons and daughter in-law Ernest F. and Sharon Kramer of Terre Haute, and Wayne J. Kramer of Zionsville; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She is prededed in death by her husband, Robert J. Kramer, whom she married on November 13, 1948, on August 19, 2002. She also is prededed in death by five sisters, Mary Klickel, Ann Kathleen Rossmon, Pat DeJoy, Gerri Baird, and Marge Reitz; and three brothers, Martin Towey Jr., James Towey, and Thomas Towey. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Fathers Ryan Hilderbrand and Gordon Mann as con-celebrants. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Friday with a wake services at 4 PM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
