Brock M. Williams, age 25, of Washington passed away at 3:15 a.m. Saturday in an auto accident. He was born April 17, 1984 to Paul and Tena (Dant) Williams. He was a 2002 graduate of Washington High School and attended Vincennes University. He was captain of the football and wrestling team his senior year of high school. He was a past assistant wrestling coach for Washington High School and Junior High School and had volunteered with the YMCA Football program. He helped form the youth wrestling program for the Daviess County Schools. He loved horse riding and was an avid Colts fan. He worked for Master Brand Cabinets in Jasper. He is survived by his mother, Tena Williams of Washington; his father and step-mother, Paul and Susan Williams of Washington; sisters, Heather Williams and Abbi Williams both of Louisville, Ky, and Paytan Williams of Washington; step-brothers, Jordan Hawk and Jaydan Hawk both of Washington; step-sister, Jaylyn Hawk of Washington; grandparents, Ambrose "Hootie" and Nancy Dant of Washington, and Linda and Dan Myers of Washington; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, P. J. Williams. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary with a wake service at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the YMCA Football Program.
