Emma M. James age 90 of Washington passed away on Tuesday at 2:54 PM at Howard Regional Health Systems in Kokomo. She was born on April 5-1916 in Knox County to the late Elmer and Elma (Dreiman) Allen. She attended Central Christian Church and loved spending time with her family. Emma had been ill for 1 month and seriously ill for 2 days Surviving are one daughter and Son in-law; Patricia and Bill Pohnert of Kokomo, one son; Jesse E. James, one sister; Garnet Mees of Lansing, Michigan, 2 brothers Elmer J. Allen of Jasper and Henry Allen of St. Louis, one granddaughter and grandson in-law; Lori and John Grannan of Washington, one grandson and granddaughter in-law; Jerry Lee and Jennifer James of Washington, and one great granddaughter; Amanda Walls of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert James on May 23-1986, one son Jerry James, one granddaughter; Lisa Rodgers, and one sister; Jeanette McPheters. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11:00 AM at Ed Lee Mortuary in Washington with Rev. James Payton officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM till the hour of services at Ed Lee Mortuary.
