Obituary
Ann Elizabeth Strange, age 71, of Plainville passed away at 11:00 a.m. Friday at her residence. Born November 13, 1938 in Fritchton, she was the daughter of Clarence Arthur and Mary (Gray) Copple. She was a 1958 graduate of Washington Catholic High School and a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She had worked for Bell Telephone, Daviess Community Hospital, Washington Nursing Center and Tokheim. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her loving grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, Donald Strange, whom she married June 18, 1960; three daughters and a son-in-law, Denise Hart of Sullivan, Dawn Strange of Batesville, and Dana and Ted Dobbs of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Justin Hart of Washington, Ian Dobbs and Olivia Dobbs both of Indianapolis; three sisters, Kay Macy of Dallas, Texas, Joyce Schuetz of Washington, and Renee Hamilton of Greenwood, Arkansas; and a brother William Copple of Avilla. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Sonny Copple. A graveside service will be held on Friday May 14, 2010 at 2 PM at St. John Cemetery with Bro Richard Smith officiating. Following the burial all family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Her Life at the family residence. Ed Lee Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
