Matthew Lee Ruminer, 39, passed away at his Washington residence on January 5, 2025. He was born in Alexandria, Virginia, December 19, 1985, the son of Dallas Lee and Nancy Louise (Thacker) O'Con.

A high school graduate, Matthew went on to become a district manager for "On The Fly" in Vincennes. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his church family and friends. He was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers and always watched their games.

Those left to cherish Matthew's memory include his sister, Cheryl Lynn Moore of Winchester, Virginia; nephews: Robert Furr of Cape Coral, Florida and Jonathan Moore of Winchester, Virginia.

During his lifetime, Matthew mourned the loss of his parents, Dallas Lee Ruminer and Nancy Louise O'Con.

In Washington, Indiana, visitation for Matthew Ruminer will be 5:00 - 6:30 pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

In Washington, Indiana, funeral services for Matthew Ruminer will immediately follow the visitation on January 15 at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, and begin at 6:30 pm. Pastor Darrell Sellers will officiate.

In Winchester, Virginia, funeral services for Matthew Ruminer are scheduled for 10 am (EST), Friday, January 17, 2025, at The Chapel of the Shenandoah Memorial Park Cemetery, 1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia. After the funeral service, Matthew will be laid to rest in the Shenandoah Memorial Park Cemetery.
