Obituary

Sarah (Wilson) Wirth, 87, passed away October 17, 2024. She was born in Vincennes on December 2, 1936, the daughter of Russell and Edith (Powers) Wilson. She married Kenneth Wirth on February 24, 1954, and they made their home together until his passing on June 20, 2024.

Those who are left to cherish Sarah's memory include her son, Jeffrey (Terri) Wirth of Washington and daughter, Angela Kay (Richard) Miller in Florida. Sarah was blessed with four grandchildren: Jason Miller, Jessica Nichole (Scott) Bauer, Heather Wirth, and Holly Wirth (deceased); three great-grandchildren: Haven Wirth, Adaline Bauer and Weston Bauer. She leaves three siblings: Virginia Biggs in Florida, Carol Pinkstaff of Vincennes, and Becky Bates in Missouri.

During her lifetime, Sarah mourned the loss of her parents, Edith and Russell Wilson; husband, Kenneth Wirth; granddaughter, Holly Wirth; and brother, Wayne Wilson.

Sarah will be laid to rest beside her husband, Kenneth, in a graveside service at 3:00 pm, on Friday, October 25, 2024, in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Vincennes, Indiana.
