Manuela Trujillo Godinez, 89, passed away while at the Ascension Hospital in Evansville on October 3, 2024. She was born on April 5, 1935, in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, to Raymundo Trujillo Garcia and Rafaela Godinez Cabral. Manuela had made her home in Washington with family for the past two years.

Manuela was a homemaker who loved gardening, listening to music and dancing. A woman with a generous spirit, Manuela was an animal lover who had many dogs and cows. She was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Hope.

Manuela leaves her beloved ten children, fifty-five grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother and a sister.

During her lifetime, Manuela grieved the loss of her parents, a daughter, a grandson, and two sisters.

Her family fondly recalls some of Manuela's favorite sayings and prayers:
Dios que nos de una buena noche.
Dios que nos de un buen dia.
Mi senor todo poderoso.
Gracias que me diste que comer sin mereserlo. Amen.

Visitation for Manuela Trujillo Godinez will be 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Manuela Trujillo Godinez will be celebrated at 6:30 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 315 NE 3rd Street, Washington, Indiana. Father Juan Ramirez will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Capomo, Nayarit, Mexico.

Manuela Trujillo Godínez de 89 años, falleció en el Hospital Ascencio St. Vincent en Evansville el 3 de Octubre del 2024. Ella nació el 5 de Abril de 1935, en Tebelchia, Jalisco, México, hija de Raymundo Trujillo García y Rafaela Godínez Cabral. Manuela por los últimos 2 años con su familia hizo Washington su hogar.

Manuela era una ama de casa que amaba cuidar del jardín, escuchar música y bailar. Era una mujer de espíritu muy generoso, Manuela también era amadora de animales tenía muchos perros y vacas. Ella también formaba parte de la Iglesia Católica "Our Lady of Hope".
Manuela deja atrás sus queridos 10 hijos, 55 nietos, 46 bisnietos, 2 tataranietos y un hermano y una hermana.
Durante su vida, Manuela lamento la perdida de sus padres, una hija, un nieto y dos hermanas.
