Tamela Jean Tincher, 63, passed away at her son's residence in Washington on August 28, 2024. She was born in Washington on May 27, 1961, to Jack Eugene and Carolyn Sue (Clark) Tincher.

At one time, Tamela was a nurses aide at the Washington Nursing Center. She was a lady with a big heart who made friends easily wherever she went. She loved spending time with her family and dearly loved her canine companion, Roscoe. Tamela attended the Victory Community Church.

Those who now mourn Tamela's passing include her mother, Carolyn Sue Tincher; son, Clayton (Ashley) Alford of Washington; grandchildren: Camron Alford of Washington, Cassidy Alford of Washington, Caiden Alford of Washington, Elizabeth Osgatharp and Allen Osgatharp both of Loogootee. She leaves siblings: Jack (Lori) Tincher of Washington; Kim (Mike) Gogel of Loogootee; Lori (Shannon) Wininger of Washington; Jeannie Stodghill of Washington, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Tamela Tincher will be 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

Funeral services for Tamela Tincher will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 12:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Pastor Derrick Crews will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
