Obituary

Margaret (Walls) Lundy, 81, passed away at her Washington residence during the afternoon of July 29, 2024. She was born in Washington on March 27, 1943, to Ernest P. and Ruth (Queen) Walls.

Margaret was a 1961 graduate of Plainville High School and was retired from Perdue, where she was a line worker. She enjoyed reading, going for walks, and loved listening to country and gospel music. She attended the Central Christian Church.

Those who now mourn Margaret's passing include her sons: Bill (Lori) Lundy; Ed (Toni) Lundy; and Greg Lundy, all of Washington. Margaret was blessed with six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and leaves a brother, John (Nancy) Walls and a sister, Norma McCrary, both of Washington.

During her lifetime, Margaret mourned the loss of her parents, Ernest and Ruth Walls, and siblings: Ernest Walls, Linda Daily, Virginia McFarland, Larry Joe Walls, Kenny Walls, and Mike Walls.

A graveside service for Margaret Lundy was held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 1, 2024, in the Fairview Cemetery in Elnora.
