Obituary

Ralph Fox, 91, passed away during the morning hours of July 26, 2024. He was born in Washington, July 3, 1933, to Floyd and Genille (Smith) Fox.

A graduate of Washington High School, Ralph went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was the manager of the local bowling alley for over twenty years. Ralph enjoyed playing pool and was a good mechanic. He was a member of the Washington Eagles, VFW and the American Legion.

Those who now mourn Ralph's passing include his daughter, Tammy (Jim) French of Alamo, Indiana; and son, Ralph Fox, Jr. of Washington. Ralph also leaves seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Fox of Washington.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Genille Fox; son, Jeff Fox; and sister, Marilyn Pride.

A graveside service for Ralph Fox will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Sugarland Memory Gardens. The Washington American Legion will accord military honors at the gravesite.
