Worked with Dick on the railroad many years, was one of my favorite engineers to work with. I have many great memories of him, and he if he liked you, he might call you Freon and offer you a cup of belly wash, (coffee). He was definitely one of kind, sad to hear of his passing. Dick and I were engineers on the B&O and that's how our lifelong friendship began. The good times and memories we shared will be forever cherished. This news saddens me like no other. Dick was a treasure.
