Allison Renee Potts, 20, passed away during the afternoon of September 28, 2023. She was born in Washington on October 18, 2002, to Ryan James Potts and Kelly Renee Fox.

A 2021 high school graduate of Washington High School, Allison was a beloved caregiver and worked at Toyota in Princeton. She attended Bethany Church.

Allison possessed a loving heart and a generous spirit. She adored animals, especially her cat, Namia, and her dog, CiCi. She continued to mourn the loss of Zilla, her German shepherd. But, most of all, Allison loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be forever missed by all those who knew her.

Those who now mourn Allison's passing include her parents: Kelly Renee Fox and Ryan Potts; her sisters: Tiffany Potts of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and Aliyah Grannan of Washington. She leaves a large maternal family: grandmother and step-grandfather, Lynn and Bob Masters; grandfather, Melvin Fox; aunt and uncle Jennifer and Charles Basham; aunt and uncle, Aaron (Teresa James) Fox, all of Washington; maternal cousins: Haley Burress in Florida; Katie Burress of Washington; Lynsie Burress (her daughter, Adelyne Clark, will be born soon) of Vincennes; Kailey Fox; Taylor Walls; Jaxtyn McReynolds; and Jaidyn McReynolds all of Washington. Additionally, Allison leaves a large paternal family: grandfather, Thomas Potts; and aunt and uncle, Lisa and Mike Potts all of Washington. Paternal cousins include: Kathy Brochin of Washington; Liz Brochin in Utah; Alison Geatches of Jasonville; Alyssa (Zach) Bowles of Bloomfield; and Cayley Potts of Washington.

Allison was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Betty Potts.

Visitation for Allison Renee Potts will be 4:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington.

Funeral services for Allison Renee Potts will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Pastor Matt Merold will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
