Mary Margaret (Baker) McCall, 90, passed away June 5, 2023. She was born December 17, 1932, in Washington, to Heath E. and Ora G. (Abel) Baker. She married Denzil H. McCall, Jr. on July 8, 1951, and he preceded her in death.

A 1951 graduate of Washington High School, Mary was retired from the Daviess Community Hospital where she was a switchboard operator, later, worked in the admitting department.

Mary was a seamstress and a master quilter. She taught Bible school for over fifty years. Mary was a member of the Assembly of God and the Free Methodist Churches.

Those who mourn Mary's passing include her children: Michael McCall of Washington; Kevin (Kim) McCall of Upland, Indiana; and Beth McCall of Bloomington. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren: Steven McCall; Kurtiss McCall; Josie Robinson; Laci Sample; Vincent McCall-Neary; Max McCall-Neary; Scott McCall; Christina McCall; Janel McCall; Barbara Niedge; and Ryan Moffett; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She leaves two sisters: Ruth Shock and Esther (Larry) Hendrick all in Tennessee.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Heath and Ora Baker; her husband, Denzil McCall, Jr.; a great-great-grandchild; brothers: Oral Baker, Wilbur Baker, Robert Baker; and sisters: Betty Jean Jackson, and Naomi Hemmersly.

Visitation for Mary Margaret (Baker) McCall will be 12:00-2:00 pm, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Free Methodist Church, 1155 Troy Road, Washington.

Funeral services for Mary Margaret (Baker) McCall, will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 2:00 pm, also at the Free Methodist Church. Pastor Adam Conder will officiate.

Interment will be in the Sugarland Memory Gardens.
