Dorothy "Dottie" Stellings, 92, passed away October 23, 2022. She was born in Washington, Indiana, October 27, 1929, to Eli and Mary (Stone) Wonder. In 1947, she married her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life, Robert R. "Bob" Stellings. They made their life together for sixty-two years until his passing March 21, 2008. During their many years of marriage, Bob and Dottie made many life-long memories and friends while living in New Mexico (twice), Florida, Illinois, and Indiana.

Dottie was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and lived her faith daily. She was a member of the Alter Society of St. Joseph's Parish in Princeton, Indiana, for twenty years where her granddaughters attended school.

Dottie was devoted to her family and friends. Always eager to learn, she was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School...where she was a cheerleader for four years. In 1958, Dottie was certified by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Apprentice Pharmacist. She also took courses in real estate and horticulture. While living in Bloomington, she worked at the General Electric Corporation and RCA. Dottie enjoyed nature and worked at her parents' Christmas Tree Farms and Landscaping business on Troy Road in Washington. She was an avid sports fan of Indiana University and Indiana Pacers teams.

Dottie is survived by her daughter, Ann Moreland; granddaughter, Amy J. Newman of Washington; five great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Lindauer of Bloomington; brother-in-law, Terry D. (Maureen) Stellings of Yuma, Arizona; sister-in-law, Patty (Wonder) Hopewell; and several nieces and nephews.

During her lifetime, Dottie mourned the loss of her parents, Eli and Mary Wonder; husband, Robert R. "Bob" Stellings; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Catherine "Katie" and Edmund Johnson; brothers, Robert Paul Wonder and George Willis Wonder; son-in-law, Robert "Dick" Moreland; and granddaughters, Julie Ann Moreland and Molly K. Moreland.

There will be no visitation.
