Obituary

Rosemary (Hendry) Daniel, 100, left her Loogootee residence and went to her heavenly home, July 27, 2022. She was born January 19, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois to Dewey and Jane (Hoeferlin) Hendry. She was raised by her aunts, Georgina and Bessie Hendry.

A lady of many talents, Rosemary was a teacher in the public school system, made her own personalized Christmas cards, sang in the church choir, and played the piano. She was a member of Park Ridge First Methodist Church in Illinois, where she was also a Sunday School teacher. Rosemary was happiest when she was spending time with her family.

Those who mourn Rosemary's passing include her children: James Daniel of Loogootee, Bob (Dave Miller) Daniel of Zionsville, Barbara (Bob) Schmaus of St. Petersburg, Florida, John Daniel of Bradenton, Florida, and Kathleen Daniel of Sarasota, Florida. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Sean Daniel, Paul Daniel, Christina Daniel, Sarah Schmaus, and Michael Schmaus. She also leaves a sister, Melissa Melville of Olympia, Washington.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold Daniel.
