Obituary

Richard Pittenger, 83, passed away March 15, 2022. He was born in Peoria, Illinois, October 9, 1938, to William Edward and Lucille (Williams) Pittenger.
Richard served honorably in the United States Army, and was retired from the Molson Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado. He had also worked at A and R, and the Washington Community School Corporation. He loved to hunt and fish and drive his side-by-side; but his family was the most important thing in his life.
Those who now mourn Richard's passing include his wife, Elnora (Sturgeon) Pittenger of Washington; his children: Lora (J. Todd) Hewitt of Washington; Charles (Celine) Kidwell of Hollywood, Florida; and Steven (Michelle) Kidwell in Oregon. Richard was blessed with five grandchildren: Kevin Kidwell, Amanda Kidwell, Dan Kidwell, Jesse Kidwell, and Jared Johnson; and one great-granddaughter. He leaves four brothers: James Pittenger, Bud Pittenger, Bob Pittenger, and Tom Pittenger.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Pittenger.
