Debra Gaines age 59 of Washington passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Hillside Manor.

Debra was born July 13, 1961 in Washington to James R. and MaDonna Ann (Russell) Phillips. She worked at Hillside Manor. She was artistic and loved flowers and animals but especially dogs.

Debra is survived by two sons Michael (Melissa Russell) Cassidy of Washington and Brian (Cassandra) Cassidy of Jasper; sister Sherri Drew of Washington; step-father Bill Mattingly; two step-sisters Stephanie Davis of Washington and Rhoada Mattingly of Washington; eight grandchildren Isabella Russel, Benjamin Russell, Arianna Cassidy, Savannah Cassidy, Eva Cassidy, Lily Cassidy, Lyla Cassidy and Brayden Cassidy; four nephews Josh Drew, Isaac Drew, Tristan Woodward, Nate Campbell; niece Casey Jo Campbell and special companion Steve Eller.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Gaines.
