Elinor T. (Coleman) Riggins age 93 of Washington passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Prairie Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Elinor was born April 16, 1928 in Washington to Fern Beatrice (Wheeler) and Willard Elsworth Tomey. She graduated from Washington High School in 1946. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Elinor is survived by three sons, David H. (Marsha) Coleman and Timothy M. Coleman both of Washington and Mark A. (Lesley Ann) Coleman of O'Fallon, IL; two daughters, Paula S. (Greg) Scott of Vincennes and Pamela K. (Daniel) Allison of Washington; daughter-in-law Debbie Coleman of Washington; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Henry Herbert Coleman who passed away November 12, 1970; second husband Richard Riggins who passed away in 2011; her parents; son John Henry Coleman; three brothers Delbert Tomey, Wayne Tomey and Leonard Tomey ;two sisters Myrtle Burton and Verna Klem; grandson Jason Coleman and great-grandson Gavin Kline.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Ed Lee Mortuary North Chapel from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 1:00 pm. Pastor Rex Thomas will be officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
