Wilma A. Summers age 79 passed away on Wednesday at 8:02 PM at Washington Nursing Center. She was born on June 14, 1927 in Washington to Charles and Dora ( Drew ) Wood. She was a Washington Catholic High School Graduate and was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church. She Married Joseph W. Summers on January 27, 1951. Surviving is her husband Joseph Summers; one son Charles J. Summers of Washington; one brother and sister in-law, Gene and Patty Wood of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Agnes Wildman, Kathleen Bass, Dorothy Wathen, Loretta Critchlow, and Margaret Palmer; and three brothers, James Wood, Charles Wood and Robert Wood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Leo Kiesel as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
