My apologies for not composing this condolence message sooner. Gina's young death startled me even though I knew she was losing the disease battle. Gina and I worked together for several years at Lilly. We enjoyed work efforts but particularly enjoyed 'Salsa and Beer' events after work with other co-workers and friends at a picnic table in front of my apartment building that was only a block from work. Work assignment reallocations for both of us caused these event times to disappear. Gina was always upbeat, loved her family, friends, and sports. She is in a better place away from the disease that robbed her life. God Bless Gina and her close family and friends who provided care to her during her difficult path.
