Obituary

Johnny A. Campbell age 79 of Otwell formerly of Washington passed away at 2:50 AM on Wednesday at the home of his daughter. He was born in Pike County on November 4, 1927 to G.C. and Esther (Braun) Campbell. He loved going fishing and watching NASCAR. He was a passed member of the Washington American Legion, VFW, Eagles and the Moose. Surviving are one daughter and son in-law, Patty and Mark Russell of Otwell; two sons and daughters in-law, Mike and Jeannie Campbell of Seymour, and David and Gail Campbell of Washington; one sister, Donna Stanfield of Palmetto, Florida; six grandchildren, Stephen Campbell of Columbus, Zachary Campbell of Jasper, John Campbell of Columbus, Jason Russell Evansville, Curt Russell of Petersburg, and Nicole Russell of Winslow; two step grandchildren, Jeff Lyons of Loogootee, and Brett Lyons of Jasper; four great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; and a special friend, Rose Mary Chapman of Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife Roberta (Cox) Campbell; his parents; two grandchildren, Jeremy Campbell and Melissa Campbell; one step daughter, Devonna Jane Barber Campbell; ONE SISTER Jenny Freeman; and one brother, William Campbell. Funeral Services will be on Friday at 7:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Pastor Mike Atkins officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to till the hour of service on Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
