Eva Agnes Chastain age 90 of Washington passed away on Wednesday at 12:10 PM at Washington Nursing Center. She was born on March 30, 1918 in Washington to Ollie and Iva (Small) Loyd. She was a 1936 graduate of Washington High School, a Member of Washington First Christian Church, and had worked at the Reliance factory and UniRoyal from were she retired. Surviving are one son; Phil Wonder of Washington, two grandchildren, Ryan Wonder of Washington, and Beth Ann Levi of Rockville, Maryland; one great granddaughter, Talia Levi of Rockville, Maryland; one brother and sisters in-law, Gordon and Doris Loyd and Margaret Loyd all of Washington one sister, Rosemary Chapman of Washington. She was preceded in death by her first husband Carl Wonder on May 24, 1943, whom she had married on January 2, 1939; her second husband, Robert Chastain on December 16, 2004 whom he had married on April 12, 1958; two brothers, Paul Loyd and Donald Loyd; and one sister, Betty Loyd Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Bro. Steve Dayton officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 AM till the hour of services at Ed Lee Mortuary.
