It is so good to know that he's with the Lord now. I didn't know John in the natural but in the spirit, he is a brother. The Father tells us that not one sparrow falls to the ground without His notice. It also says that"blessed in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints." John's in the Arms of God now. He's getting to see the fulfillment of all he hoped for and believed and taught and questioned and believed anyway. So sorry for your loss and so blessed by His and his(John) gain. I appreciated John McCall. I remember him and his mother coming to our little school to share the March of Dimes when I was in elemtary School. He introduoed me to Victor Borge on his record player. I remember him as a great conversationist. I also thought he had great daughters and a super wife.

Ann Marie, John was a man I will always remember. I am with the Vanderburgh County SWCD and saw John at RC&D meetings, Annual Conference and other meetings. He was always so kind and friendly. I always think of him as Mr. SWCD. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Bonnie

Dear Ann and Family, I had the privilege of serving as pastor of Epsom United Methodist Church as a fresh graduate from seminary and a city boy. John was so very encouraging and helpful to both myself and my family. I have always been thankful for my time serving there in North Daviess county and John McCall was one of the real blessings in my life as he helped me to grow in being a pastor. You will be in my prayers and John is right: "It is a great day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ!" Christ be with each of you. Jeff and Linda Reed

We will always remember John from the good ole days when our sons played sports.....John was always involved in the sports activities and we saw him at many games. He was a good and king person. John was a wonderful man and will be missed by all that came into contact with him. He was such a kind and considerate neighbor, always there when someone needed a helping hand. I will always cherish the memories that I have of him and his family from my childhood. May they take comfort in the fact that he's at peace now and will never have to endure pain again. He'll be watching over you and guiding you thru the rest of your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Just remember, John's not really gone. He lives on in your heart.
