My great grandpa. He picked me up from school thru my kindergarten year and we would usually just returned to his house until my mother picked me up that evening. However, there were times we would go fishing and we spent much time mowing grass. He made me a homemade push mower that was just my size. It couldn’t have been more than about a 15 inch cut. For a man of a few wordsHe always knew how to Get a smile from anyone. He gave me my first shotgun when I was 11 years old , a springfield bolt action, held six with one chamber. I sure did love that man and also loves his son, my “Papaw” who was Joe Gray a.k.a. “handyman” .. I miss these two men more than anyone could ever know . I could tell stories on both of them and go on for hours and hours. They have found their way into the hands of God, in which I trust He will show mercy and I’ll one day see them again…
