Obituary
Virginia Ruth Dillon Lamb, age 79 of Washington, passed away at 6:23 p.m. Monday at her residence. She was born July 4, 1930 in Washington to George and Edith (Phipps) Dillon. She worked at Daviess Community Hospital for several years as a CNA. She had attended Vincennes University for two years. She loved spending her spare time quilting. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Wolven of Washington and Cheryl Mandabach of Indianapolis; two sons, David W. Mandabach and John Anthony "Tony" Mandabach both of Washington; two sisters, Mary Moore and Sally Sult both of Bloomfield; four brothers, Gene Dillon, of Bloomfield, Larry Dillon Washington, Robert Dillon of Loogootee, and Richard Dillon Utah, two step sisters, Brenda Like and Linda Houchins both of Boonville; one step brother, Eddy Potts of Washington; nineteen grand children; forty seven great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son , Larry 'Shag" Mandabach on December 31, 1995; one sister, Rose Marie Dillon; four brothers, Jack Dillon, Dewy Dillon, Nealis Dillon, and Bill Dillon; one half sister, Debra McBride; one grandson; and one great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
