Hallie Boger age 87 of Washington passed away on Thursday at 2:00 AM at Eastgate Manor Nursing Center. She was born on April 23,1919 in Daviess County to the late Hile and Rachel (Abel) Gammon. She married Cecil Boger on November 1,1941 and he preceded her in death on February 7,1969. Hallie was a member of Bethal Methodist Church. She loved gardening and quilting. Hallie retired in 1981 after working for several years for 3-D Department Store. Surviving is one son and daughter in-law; David and Susie Boger of Washington, two daughters and son in-law: Donna Durnil of Washington, and Diana and Gary L. Jones of Washington, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her husband, were one son, Dennis Boger on December 26,1975, six sisters; Lillie Burrous, Clara Trowbridge, Emma Trowbridge, Mabel Fox, Alta Stevens, and Hazel Gammon and two brothers; Claude Gammon and Frank Gammon. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 1:30 PM at Bethal Methodist Church with Rev. Marvin Cheek officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
