Dwayne Foster age 84 of Washington passed away on Friday at 6:22 PM at Eastgate Manor Nursing Center. He was born in Petersburg on February 16-1922 to the late Lula Ann (Frentress) and James Franklin Foster. He attended Arnold School in Pike County. He married Norma Jean King on September 17-1941 and she survives. Dwayne had retired from farming after many years, he then went to work for Graham Farms for several years. Surviving are his wife Norma Jean Foster, two daughters and son in-law, Sally Ann Harris of Hartford, Ky. and Nancy and Bill Singleton of Washington; 5 five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; five sisters Alleen Michaels of Indianapolis, Dorothy Benge of Indianapolis Annabell Schuetz of Texas Mary Small of Vincennes Gettie Dafferon of Wheatland; and two brothers, James Foster Jr. of Washington and Luther Foster of Ohio. He was preceded in death by three sisters Lorena Fulcher, Eddyth McCain and Clude Byrd; two brothers, Claud Foster and George Foster; and son in-law, Frank Harris. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 8 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary.
