Mildred McMahan age 78 of Washington passed away at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at Willow Manor in Vincennes. Born May 30, 1929 she was the daughter of Noel and Gladys (McKinney) Dedman. She was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She was a member of the Washington American Legion Auxiliary and the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary. She had worked for 30 years in the food service business. Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Robert Kemp of Vincennes; one half-sister, Carla Ice of Pennsylvania; one grandson, Joseph Kemp of Vincennes; and a nephew, Tony and Ruth Carol Kirchner of Cannelburg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. McMahan who passed away July 1969. Two sisters, Virginia Kirchner and Billie Rose are also deceased. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Father Dennis Latta officiating. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
