Carol Anderson age 66 of Washington passed away on Tuesday at 6:10 PM at Eastgate Manor Nursing Center. She was born on October 18, 1940 in Washington to Augustine and Stella (Miller) Grannan. Surviving are two sons, Daniel J. 'DJ' Gines II and Jeffrey Scott Gines both of Washington; her mother, Stella Grannan of Washington; three sisters and brothers in-law, Dawn and David Durnil of Washington, June and Rodney Whitehead of Otwell, and Pamela and Gary Walker of Clayton,In; one brther and sister in-law, Steve and Karen Grannan of Washington; 3 grandchildren; Maverick Gines of Evansville, Sam Gines of Washington, and Amber and her husband Tracy Cook of Washington; and 4 step grandchildren, Justin Eyer, Caleb Eyer, Patrick Eyer, and Annie Johnson. Preceded in death by her father, Augutine "Ottie" Grannan on September 2, 1989 and one sister Jerane Grannan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 8:30 AM Friday at St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Leo Kiesel as celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
