Robert 'Bobby' Lee Wathen age 66 of Washington passed away at 7:45 PM at Prairie Vbillage Living Center. He was born on July 2 1940 in Daviess County to the late John and Dorothy Mary (Wood) Wathen. He attended school in Delphi, Ohio and was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School. He was retired from McCord Corp. He was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church. Bob also had a great love for animals. Surviving is his long time friend and companion Larry Knable of Washington; one half sister Angela Hotz of Washington ; one half brother Jeffery Bass of Washington, and two aunts and uncles, Patty and Gene Wood of Washington and Wilma and Joseph Summers of Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Simon Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with a wake service at 4 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Simon Catholic Church.
