Aylah Dale Gibbs Fawks infant passed away at 6:37 p.m. Sunday at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was born Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Jasper Memorial Hospital to Tessa Fawks and Jerry Gibbs. She is survived by her mother, Tessa Fawks of Alfordsville; her father Jerry Gibbs of Shoals; her maternal grandparents, Becky and Ernie Fawks of Alfordsville; paternal grandparents Richard and Tina Gibbs of Shoals; maternal great-grandparents Betty and Leland Edwards of Alfordsville and Carol Fawks of Huntingburg; paternal great-grandparents, Viola Roeder and Betty and Stanley Gibbs all of Tacoma, Washington; one aunt, Katelyn Fawks of Alfordsville; one uncle, Cody Fawks with the U. S. Marine stationed in Pensacola, Fl; and one cousin, Jacob Fawks of Montgomery. Preceding her in death is her paternal great-grandfather, Edward Fawks, Sr., and maternal great-grandfather, John Roeder, Sr. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Bro. Gordon Hochmeister officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Reeve Township. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
