Obituary

Leo T. Auberry age 84 of Washington passed away on Wednesday afternoon at his residences. He was born on December 18,1921 in Daviess County to the late Thomas and Anna (Humbert) Auberry. He was a 1938 graduate of Glendale High School. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, spending his service time in Europe.He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Simon Catholic Church. Mr. Auberry was a life time Farmer of Daviess County. Surviving is his wife Agnes (Kirsch) Auberry,whom he married on September 11, 1948, one son and daughter in-Law; Terry and Mary Auberry of Zionsville, three daughters and sons in-law; Kathy and Ed Wickman of Evansville, Chris and Jim Dossman of Indianapolis, Donna and Bob Graves of Olive Hill, Ky. Also surviving is 9 grandchildren; Matt Wickman of St Louis, Mo., Christy Wickman of Evansville, Michael Spaulding of Bloomington, Tim Dossman, Emily Dossman, Natalie Dossman, Stephanie Dossman all of Indianapolis, Deanna Graves of Milwaukee, Wi., Joe Graves of Portland, Or. and one great granddaughter: Emma Wickman. Leo was preceded in death by three sisters; Josephine Wichman, Genevieve Spaulding, and Eldena Greene, and one brother; John V. Auberry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Simon Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery with military graveside rites by Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with a wake services at 4:00 PM .
