Nina 'Carol' Ochs age 56 of Washington passed away on Thursday at 3:58 AM at Jasper memorial Hospital in Jasper. She was born on February 19, 1951 in Washington to Alma Grace (Willis) and Burtis Killion. She had worked at Head Start, Janee's Restaurant, and Wendy's. She was a member of the Washington Eagles Auxiliary, American Legion Auviliary, and VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Augustine "Lucky" Ochs Jr. whom she married on September 4, 1970; one son and daughter in-law, Augustine "Gus" Ochs III and Michelle of Washington; one daughter, Tracy Lewis of Washington; seven granddaughters, Brandi Ochs, Brooke Ochs, Blake Ochs, Bridgett Ochs, Bryde Ochs, Carol Ann Lewis, and Stacy Lewis all of Washington; one sister and brother in-law, Anna and Bill Foster of Washington; three brothers and sisters in-law, David and Jodi Jones of Loogootee, Charles 'Chuck' and Diana Jones of Petersberg and Roger Killion of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Evan Evans officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
