Kids and Grandkids: I know how much you're going to miss Ed. He was such a super friend and neighbor. He really enjoyed the Bluegrass music; so boys I know you'll be reminded of him each time you pick up one of your instruments. My hopes and prayers are with you in this time of sadness, but I know in my heart he is above each and everyone of you know smiling down.

Ed was a very good friend for 50 years. Those are hard to come by. He will be missed greatly. My condolences to his entire family. May Ed rest in peace.

Ed and I went to St. Mary's grade school together then on to WCHS as classmates. He is actually responsible for getting Sharon and I together in high school and we went on to be married. Ed was always a great friend and fun to be with throughout school. After school we went our separate ways but always stayed in touch. So enjoyed getting to know your father through Ashton. He was always so pleasant and always had a smile on his face. He loved to talk to people and was a great conversationlist. Thankfully, he has been spared the days of suffering and is now in heaven.

Ennis children/grandchildren, We have had the pleasure of knowing your Dad through our friendship with Michelle and Pat. "Grandpa Ed" was always so kind and welcoming to us.
