Michele R. Prewett age 48, Indianapolis formerly of Washington, passed away at 1:32 PM on Saturday at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born February 24, 1958 in Washington to John Wesley and Georgia (Gabhart) Prewett. She attended Washington High School and graduated with a nursing degree in Florida. She is survived by her mother Georgia Prewett of Washington, three brothers and sisters in law; Morgan and Shirley Prewett, John Rustin and Sherrill Prewett, and David and Rita Prewett all of Washington, one sister and brother in law; Heather and Brad Lawyer of Washington, eleven nieces and nephews; Kacey Newsome, Elizabeth Reed, Matt Flynn, Jessica Prewett, Jenna Prewett, Joel Prewett, Zach Prewett, Kelci Prewett, Rachel Lawyer, John Lawyer, and Grace Lawyer all of Washington, three great-nieces and nephews; Rosemary Prewett, Trey Reed, and Ellie Reed all of Washington, AND special Friends; David and Maria Liford of Indianapolis. She was Preceded in death by her father John Wesley Prewett on June 28, 2005. her Grandparents Hazel and Floyd Prewett, and Enid and Howard Gabhart. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 11AM at Alfordsville Community Cemetery There will be no calling. Ed Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
