William David Compton III, age 18 of Jasper passed away at 9:10 AM on Tuesday at St. Mary''s Medical Center in Evansville. He was born on October 14, 1994 in Jasper to David W. and Jennifer (Saul) Compton. He attended Greenville High School in OH and attended Northeast Dubois High School and worked for Farbest Foods. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys Fan. He played high school football, baseball, and wrestling. He was also in the choir. He enjoyed movies, music, animals, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother and step father, Jennifer Saul-Neukam and Derick Neukam of Jasper; his father and step mother, David W. and Brianne Compton of Oklahoma; one brother Noah Hawrysz of Oklahoma; grandparents, Carol Saul of Montgomery, Pam Compton of Oklahoma, Diana and Robin Herwick of Michigan, and Richard and Shirley Neukam of Jasper; great grandparents, Patrick Colvin of Washington, Betty Colcord of Michigan, and Treva Merrill of Michigan. preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Saul and William David Compton Jr. and great grandmother Margie Colvin. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, October 14, 2013 at St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee with Father Joseph Erbacher as celebrant. Burial will be at a later date. A sharing time of memories will follow the mass in St John Center. Ed Lee Mortuary in washington is handling arrangements.
