Virginia "Ginny" Padgett age 85 of Washington passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Daviess Community Hospital.
Ginny was born April 5, 1935 of Washington to Ruth and Robert L. Stephenson. Ginny retired from Glendale Fish and Wildlife. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and loved reading, hunting and fishing.
Ginny is survived by her son Mike (Debbie) Padgett of Washington; daughter Becky (Wes) King of California; sister Sue (Ed) Theroff of Washington; four grandchildren Justin King, Brandy Memolo, Shawn Padgett and Melissa Green; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on good friend Don Eaton.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Padgett who passed away March 8, 2020; her daughter Debra Jane Padgett and sister Billie Lou.
Graveside service will be Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. John Cemetery with Father Paul Ferguson officiating.
