Theresa Scheid, 67, passed away at her Odon residence on July 3, 2022. She was born in Beech Grove, January 11, 1955, to M.C. and Edith Lorraine (Brown) Perdue. On July 6, 1982, she married Jeffrey Scheid, and he survives.

Theresa was a driver for the Vincennes EMS. She loved to cross stitch, sing, and write stories. She was known to be a wonderful cook. Her family fondly recalls her fried chicken and homemade "red hot" applesauce.

Those who now mourn Theresa's passing include her husband, Jeff Scheid; her children, Bobbie Mullins of Cloverdale, Robby (Kristi) Cook of Palm Bay, Florida, and Mark "Tony" McCoy of Michigan City. Theresa was blessed with seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. Additionally, she leaves siblings: Michael (Angie) Perdue of Indianapolis, Sheila (Mark) Strong of New Whiteland, and Sandra (Joe) Valdez of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, M.C. Perdue and Edith Wells; stepfather, Jerry Wells; mother-in-law, Virginia Scheid; and an infant sister, Shirley Brown.
