Teresa Marlene Cox, 61, passed away the morning of March 15, 2025. She was born in Acton, Indiana, August 1, 1963, the daughter of Russell and Rosetta (Fisher) Cox.

Teresa was a housekeeper at some of the area motels. She was a member of Friends for Animals and often fostered dogs in need. Teresa leaves four Chihuahuas that she cherished. She attended the Maysville United Methodist Church.

Those who now mourn Teresa's passing include her sons, Tim Cox and Charles Cox, both of Washington; grandchildren: Alexia Stone, Rylyn Stone, and Ruby Cox; with a great-grandson on the way; sister, Alberta Walls; aunt, Sharon Berry; and several nieces and nephews..

During her lifetime, Teresa grieved the loss of her parents, Russell and Rosetta Cox; brothers, Russell and Tony Cox; and sister, Karen Christenberry.

In keeping with Teresa's wishes, there will be no services at this time. The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
