Steven E. Lett, age 68, passed away January 5, 2015 at Eastgate Manor in Washington at 5:36 a.m. He was born to Martha A. (Boger) and Hampton C. Lett on May 7, 1946. He was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed making woodworking items for family and friends. He is survived by his wife; Diane (Mattingly) Lett, one son; Brian Steven (Connie) Lett of Vincennes and one daughter; Jennifer (Ryan) Dant of Washington, two brothers; Dave Lett of Ireland and Jerry Lett of Evansville, one sister; Joyce Hedden of Washington, five grandchildren; Tyler Lett, Tristan Lett, Kaitlin Dant, Madalian Dant, and Emma Dant. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Eddie Lett and Ronnie Lett, and one sister, Patty Hinkle. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery with full military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary.
