Stephen H. Bassler, 74, passed away at his Washington residence on August 2, 2023. He was born in Washington on August 31, 1948, to Robert and Kathryn (Gordon) Bassler.

He was a Washington High School graduate and was employed as a safety coordinator at the former Crop Production Services in Wheatland. Stephen loved to gamble and go to horseraces.

Stephen is survived by a sister, Barbara Steiner of Montgomery; a niece and two nephews.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Kathryn Bassler, and a brother, David Bassler.
