Shannon Marie (Allen) Watson passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026.

Shannon was born on July 19, 1974, in Princeton, to Dorothy (Wilkerson) and Carl Allen. She graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1993 and later earned her associate degree.

Shannon found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved spending quiet time reading and coloring, and her happiest days were often those spent surrounded by her beloved grandchildren. She treasured every laugh, hug, and memory they shared together. Shannon also had a special place in her heart for her cherished dog, Muffin, who brought her constant comfort and companionship.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving mother, Dorothy Allen; her daughter, Meghan (Josh) Norris; her beloved grandchildren, Liam, Ellie, and Danielle Norris, Zaylee Clark, Zander Evinger, and Alaska McCllean; and her sister, Nona Carlson.

Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Carl Allen.

Though her time here was far too short, Shannon’s gentle spirit, love for her family, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
