Rutilio Guzman-Orozco, 81, passed away while at the Daviess Community Hospital, Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Rutilio was born June 29, 1940, in Mexico to Felicitas (Zanchez) Guzman and Jesus Guzman. On June 6, 1970, he married Rose Castro Palmerin.
A retired farm laborer, Rutilio loved walking in the park and bird watching. He was a devoted family man.
Those left to cherish Rutilio's memory include his wife, Rosa; and his children, Rafael (Maria) Guzman of Washington; Gerardo (Margarito Perez) Guzman of Waukegan, Illinois; Consuelo (Pedro Calderon) Guzman of Franklinville, New Jersey; Lucila Guzman (Jose Rafael Zavala) of Kansas City, Missouri. He also leaves two sisters: Esperanza Guzman and Margarita Guzman, and a brother, Ubertino (Leticia Perez) Guzman, all of Mexico. Additionally, there are nineteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Rutiloi Guzman-Orozco is planned for Sunday, August 22, 2021, 2:00-3:00 pm at the Ed Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00 pm, also at the North Chapel.
