Obituary

Roy Ander Partin, March 28, 1927 - February 1, 2012 of Washington passed away on Wednesday He was born on March 28, 1927 in Campbell County, Tennessee to Martin and Vestina (Gibson) Partin. Retired as an Oil Field Mechanic and was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He loved Fishing and bird watching. He was quit handy woodworker having built several bird houses, cars and wagons. He is survived by three sons and daughters in-law, Tom and Ginger Partin of Washington, Mike and Diane Partin of Jacksonville, Florida, and Ken and Stacy Partin of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Ruby Lawson and Ruth Siler both of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Estil Partin of Cincinnati, Ohio and Hobert Partin of Williamsburg, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife , Virginia Allene (Isaacs) Partin, on September 1, 2011, whom he had married on October 11, 1947. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Dean and Clity Bryant; and four brothers, Millard Partin, Audie Partin, Floyd Partin, and Robert Partin. A memorial service was at 12 noon on Saturday at Providence Mennonite Church with Shawn Otto officiating. There will be no visitation. Ed Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
