Rosemary Richard, age 88, of Washington, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 12:45 am at Eastgate Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Washington. She was born on July 25, 1928 in Washington to Frank W. and Tillie (Meyer) Lents. She was a 1946 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. She had worked for Montgomery Ward and Purdue Foods. She had been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband Roscoe C. Richard whom she married on September 26, 1946; one son, Frank E. (Joy) Richard of Washington; one daughter, Sharon M. (Richard) Fitzgerald of Washington; sister, Sue Ann (Lewis) Doyle of Washington; five grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; and two great greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mildred Overton and Frances Petty; three brothers, Richard Lents, William Lents and Thomas G. Lents. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 AM Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
